Kathryn L. Vanderpool, 63
Kathryn L. "Kathy" Vanderpool, 63 of Nova passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born on December 19, 1960 in Mansfield, Ohio the daughter of Vernon and Mary (nee Knight) Cline.
Kathy married the love of her life, Rodney Keith Vanderpool on February 9, 1980.
She retired after more than 23 years as a custodian from Crestview Local Schools in 2022.
Throughout her life, she was an avid Ohio sport enthusiast including the Cleveland Indians, the Ohio State University and the Cleveland Browns. Kathy enjoyed traveling on bus trips, studying genealogy, shopping for bargains at both flea markets and garage sales, but most of all attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Krystal (Ken) Abshire of Nova; four grandchildren, Brookelyn Abshire, Jonathon (fiancée Sara Hobart) Abshire, Keith Abshire, and Kathryn Abshire; her mother, Mary Cline of Mansfield; one sister, Debra (Dean) Parsons
