Vera Morgan Knowlton, 95
Vera Morgan Knowlton, 95 of Ashland passed away early Saturday morning, August 3, 2024 with her family at her side.
She was born on September 23, 1928 in Ashland, the 10th child of the late Charles Oliver and Olive (nee Hardesty) Morgan.
Vera graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1946. She married the love of her life, Wilbert M. "Bill" Knowlton on July 2, 1948.
She retired after more than 23 years from Ashland City Schools as a cafeteria worker, where she was the manager of the Edison Elementary School Cafeteria. Vera was previously employed at Woolworths, Cottage Restaurant, and the Faultless Rubber Company.
Vera was a member of the First United Methodist Church, The Old Uniontown Quilt Guild and a devoted member of the Ashland Genealogical Society, Ohio Genealogy, Belmont County, Monroe County, Perry County Chapters, and Cumberland Trail Genealogical Society. She would often volunteer at Good Shepherd where she made many friends with both the residen
