Bonnie J. Halterman, 90
Our beautiful, beloved mom, grandma, sister, friend and treasured gift from the Lord, Bonnie Jean Halterman, 90 of Ashland, formerly of Mansfield, passed into Heaven on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, and met her Lord and Savior, Jesus, as well her dear, ornery husband, David. Bonnie was graciously and tenderly cared for by staff at Belmont Tower at Brethren Care Village, the Wasen Rehabilitation Center and Gentiva Hospice. When she passed, Bonnie's family was at her side.
She was born on June 15, 1934, in Congress, Ohio, the 5th child of six to Donald K. and Pauline Florence (nee Martin) Cooper. Bonnie graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1952. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Bowling Green State University, Class of 1956.
She married the love of her life, David E. Halterman on September 29, 1956. They quietly served the Lord with joy and reflected the love of Jesus by their consistent example and faith. They were the
